Ok well not quite today's but actually yesterday. Anyways, I was delighted to see that Target had a couple of sales racks and I went straight to work. Let me just say that great quality at low prices can be found almost anywhere and Target is one of those places. I remember wearing a dress one day and someone asked me where I bought it, I told that person it was from Target and she said and I quote "You buy clothes from Target?" My response was "and you don't?" The point of that is, don't be a store snob. Target and yes even Walmart have items that are made by designers that are of excellent quality. Mixing high end retailers and the lower end ones can still help you achieve whatever look it is you are trying to achieve. Why spend $25 on a simple tank top, when you can get it for more than half the price somewhere else. This isn't to say that you should skimp on quality just for the price, but you should keep your shopping mind open. OK now on to the good stuff.
The following are pics of the stuff I tried on:
This may look unfaltering here, but with the right belt and hem, it could work really well.

So I bought Items 3,5 and 6, My fave is definitely the dress, item 6. It fits so right and I love the way it shows my figure. I bought the shoes for my sister because they only had size 8 which is her size. If they have a 9 I would've bought one for myself.

I liked what you picked out. I agree with a serious "statement" belt and the right jewelry that first dress could really pop. We do have similar taste because I bought that green tweed skirt you tried on which looks great on you. I'm in the process of altering it because the skirt is too short on me, I need it to come below the knee. I like zebra print dress on you as well. Those are some good prices. The green skirt I bought like two weeks ago and they only marked it down to $18.88. You must have gotten the second mark down. *frown* I already took the hem out so I can't take it back for a price adjustment.
ReplyDeleteAww that sucks you bought it for that. I can't lie I would've paid that for it. The skirt is just too versitile to pass up. I really want to learn to do basic sewing things like hems, taking in a garment that is too big etc. That'll be my next mission.
